Marriage Advice at its Best September 9, 2013
C Through Marriage is a work that is both biblical and insightful.
The author uses various C words to highlight areas of concern for couples who
are married and those who may be considering marriage. I found this work to be
useful to all relationships, not matter what stage they were in. I recommended
this work to my parents who have been married over thirty years and to my best
friend who is currently engaged. The advice is appropriate and helpful to any
and all. The chapters are short and easy to understand, but their content is
deep and thoughtful. My husband and I decided that this book would be a great
devotional for our marriage, and gained a lot of knowledge and great
suggestions on how to deal and work through some of the harder issues that we
face as a married couple.
Jim Hughes has an obvious calling to counsel others, and his calling is made evident in his useful book. I would recommend this work to any and all couples who are married, considering marriage, or anyone who may be giving counsel or advice to those who are married or considering marriage.
